Chicken Pizza



Pizza sauce

Tomatoes 4 nos (grinded to fine paste)

Onion 3 nos (finely chopped)

Garlic 5 cloves (finely chopped)

Sunflower or Olive oil 2 tbs

Tomato Ketchup 2 tbs

Soya sauce 2 tbs

Salt as needed


Add oil to a pan and saute the onion and garlic.

Add tomato paste and saute well.

Then add soya sauce, salt and ketchup. Mix well.


Chicken for Topping

Chicken 400 gm

Soya sauce 2 tbs

Pepper powder 1 tbs 

Salt as needed


Cook chicken along with soya sauce, pepper and salt. Make it dry.


Pizza Dough

Yeast 1 tbs

Sugar 2 tbs

Warm water 1 cup

Maida 4 cup

Salt as needed

Sunflower or Olive oil 3tbs


Mix yeast and sugar in warm water and keep aside for 10 to 15 min for fermentation.

Mix Maida, salt and refined oil in a bowl.

Add fermented yeast mixture to maida and knead well

Check the consistency. It should be a little loose and sticky than chappathi dough. Continue kneading for at at least 10 mins to make the dough soft.

Transfer the dough to a greased bowl and cover with wet cloth.

Keep it aside for at least 2 hours.

After two hours take the dough that has risen and doubled. Fold the dough a few times.

Separate it into three equal parts and place each part in greased  and dusted pans. Flatten it to about 1/4 inch thickness. Poke the flattened dough (pizza base) with a fork to release air bubbles.


Assembling

Mozzarella Cheese 300 gm

Veggies As per choice 

Tomato Ketchup


Spread a layer of Ketchup on the pizza base, top it with grated cheese. Add a layer of the pizza sauce and spread it smoothly followed by the cooked chicken (you can use cooked mushroom or paneer instead).

Add the veggies (I have used grated carrots and diced onions). On the top of that add more grated cheese.


Bake the pizza in a 180° preheated oven for about 20 mins. 

When the crust turns golden and cheese is melted, take the pizza from the oven and serve it hot. You can season it with oregano and chilli flakes.
